History of Music Videos

Learning comment - I found it really useful to go and research how music videos have changed over the years especially how they have been viewed. It is really important to recognize that technology has allowed people to listen to music in a more interesting and artistic way. It is also interesting to see how music videos have developed and changed over the years and how they have become more narrative than performance based. I've noticed that most modern music videos are edited on the beat or offbeat. They also include a wide range of shot but often use close ups to show the singer singing or instruments being played. It is clear to see how over the years music videos have become crazier and yet still hold elements of artistic quality about them.
